This error is caused by an unknown issue when starting certain games, including ones downloaded from the Playstation Network.

To solve this error :

Delete all your messages.

If playing a game on disc, clean the disc off.

Upgrade your firmware to the latest version.

Under Game settings, set PS/PS2 Upscaler to Off.

Restart your Playstation 3 and try again.

If all else fails, the disc might be defective.
